The Forestville United Methodist Church provides a pancake breakfast prior to the annual Forestville Youth Park Parade. Breakfast starts at 8:00 and consisted of pancakes, sausage, eggs and orange juice. This annual breakfast is free although donations are accepted and appreciated. Everyone is always invited! Soul Cafe

Soul Cafe is a spirit-driven celebration through music".   It’s guiding principles include celebrating diversity, the power of community, peaceful co-existence, connection and inclusion.  It is non-dogmatic and non-political. Soul Cafe happens every three months on a Sunday evening from 5 - 6:30pm.  There is no admission fee for the music.  A local non profit provides a light meal of soup, salad, and bread for $10 -- $5 for children. Cash or checks accepted.

Our next Soul Cafe is September 21st from 5pm - 6:30pm in the FUMC Sanctuary and Weibe Hall. Music will be provided by Thirsty Ground, a local trio that plays covers, American-infused originals with rich vocal harmonies: everything from Beatles to Blue Grass. There is no charge for the music. Food will be available from the non-profit Forestville United Methodist Church. They will be providing soup, salad and bread for $10 - $5 for children. Cash or checks accepted.

Please come and support this ministry and outreach and enjoy a great evening.
